Exciting Events Happening this summer in Labrador!
Posted Friday, 16 Jul 2010, 2:10 pm ADT
Labrador Straits Summer Respect Campaign Events includes events with Youth and Seniors in the Labrador Straits. The Safe Alliance is hosting the very first Pride Celebration in Labrador!

RESPECT... increases self-esteem, makes people feel valued and promotes positive attitudes towards diversity and differences in others. Respect is a fundamental building block that prevents attitudes and behaviors that lead to many forms of violence. When we give respect and expect it of others we create a standard that improves quality of life at all ages.

As part of the Labrador Straits Summer Respect Campaign, Violence Prevention Labrador is partnering with Labrador Grenfell Health and Home Care to host an Afternoon Tea with seniors and caregivers at the Point Amour Light House. Refreshments will be served and Local Musicians will be performing.
