What do you need to know to ensure your wishes are followed in the future? This plain language session will help answer this question with information on wills, power of attorney, and advance health care directives. Guest speaker: Sarah McHugh from the Public Legal Information Association of NL

Feeling Supported while Aging in Place
Are you interested in living out your senior years at home? Aging in place is exactly that and in this session we will explore tips, challenges, and possible solutions to allow seniors to age safely and affordably at home as an option in rural communities. This session is hosted by Denise Cole of the NL Housing & Homelessness Network.

Elder Abuse: How to Recognize It and Where to go for Help
"You're too old to do that." "If you loved your grand--‐daughter you would buy her a new phone." Are these statements abuse? This presentation by Lorraine Best, Peer Support Volunteer with the Seniors Resource Centre--‐NL, looks at what elder abuse is and where to go for help if you or a loved one is being abused.
